Chaplain Development

The Advanced Courses in the Chaplain Development Center of Excellence provide for the continuing development of Chaplains with internationally accredited courses taught by staff expert Chaplain trainers. 

Topics include:

• Suicide Prevention (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training – ASIST)

• Crisis Intervention Skills

• Employee Engagement (Gallup Clifton Strengths Finders, Q12)

• Clinical Pastoral Education (in partnership)

• Coaching Certification (in partnership)

The Advanced Courses can also be presented in-person to an organization’s Chaplains as requested.

These Courses result in internationally recognized Certification, enabling the Chaplain to take the knowledge they have learned and transfer it to the community in which they minister, making the work place, the hospital setting, the Correctional Facility, the Educational Institute or any other place of ministry a better place.
